Leonardo lounge Linate

Last visit: August 2025

My rating: 6/10

Airport: Milan Linate (LIN)

Location: Airside, near Gate 18

Access: Priority Pass

The Leonardo Lounge at Linate airport is one of those experiences that leaves you neither particularly impressed nor truly disappointed: a “middle-of-the-road” lounge, without major flaws but also without anything memorable.

The space is adequate but not generous: linear design, sober furnishings. At peak times, however, the lounge fills up quickly and the level of comfort suffers—finding a comfortable seat can become a small challenge.

The food & beverage offering falls into the middle range: a few hot dishes available during main mealtimes, a reasonably varied assortment of snacks and drinks, but nothing remarkable. Pastries and baked goods are decent. There’s none of the disaster of the worst lounges, but neither is there the care and attention you’d find in higher-end facilities.

A plus point is the relative quietness: thanks to decent acoustics and staff who are present yet discreet, the atmosphere remains calmer than the terminal—though it never quite achieves the hushed, cocoon-like feel of elite lounges.

In terms of services, the Leonardo Lounge provides fast Wi-Fi, power outlets at almost every seat, a reasonable selection of newspapers and magazines, and internal restrooms which are clean, if not always spotless at peak hours. There are no showers, an absence that’s noticeable especially for long-haul travelers.

Conclusion: the Leonardo Lounge at Linate is exactly what one would expect from a mid-range lounge in a small European airport. It’s not a lounge to remember, but it does represent a step up from waiting in the terminal.
